Get ready for an action-packed October half term with Koala Klubs at Cannock Cricket Club!

Our exciting Bear Grylls–themed October Adventure Camp is back, packed with outdoor challenges, sports, creative activities, team games and brilliant autumn adventures.

With plenty of fresh air, exciting challenges and something new to try every day, it’s the perfect way for children to stay active, make friends and enjoy an unforgettable half-term holiday.

As part of the HAF programme, eligible children can attend completely FREE, with healthy meals and snacks included.

Set within the fantastic outdoor grounds of Cannock Cricket Club, children will have the space to explore, get active, build confidence and develop new skills in a fun, structured and supportive environment.

Every day is different, with a varied programme designed to keep children engaged, active and excited from the moment they arrive.

Ofsted Exemption & Quality Standards

Whilst this camp operates under an Ofsted exemption, we maintain the same strong policies, procedures and high standards families expect from Koala Klubs.

Children are supported by experienced staff through clear routines, appropriate supervision, safe staffing ratios, risk assessments and carefully planned activities.

To meet Ofsted exemption requirements, the camp operates as two separate activity programmes:

Ages 5–7

Children aged 5–7 take part in an activity-led programme focused on supervised sports, arts and crafts, outdoor learning and Forest School-style adventures.

Any care provided during registration, breaks, lunch and transitions is incidental to the main programme of activities.

Ages 8+

Children aged 8 and over follow a separate programme with their own timetable, register, activity plan, staff deployment and supervision arrangements.

This group does not routinely mix with the under-8 programme.

October Adventure Activities May Include

• Archery and target challenges
• Camouflage and stealth missions
• Den building and shelter construction
• Navigation and survival skills
• Knot tying and rope challenges
• Team missions and obstacle courses
• Bushcraft-style activities
• Outdoor sports and games
• Laser tag missions
• Autumn arts and crafts
• Nature challenges and outdoor exploration
• Team competitions, prizes and rewards
• Halloween-inspired activities and seasonal challenges
