A SUMMARY
Understanding Unschooling, is a six week coaching course designed to give you the knowledge and tools you need to boldly embark on your unschooling life. It offers you the opportunity to discover the benefits of life learning for yourself and provide you with tips and tricks to implement into your daily life so that you can move towards unschooling with determination and confidence. Join me for six weeks as we walk through what unschooling is, the benefits of choosing to unschool your children and, how to implement it in your family. We will virtually meet, on a weekly basis, in a small group of no more than six. Each week we will look at one aspect of unschooling and the unschooling journey, with a professional presentation, and discussion time. The course comes complete with a 70+ page booklet, private group access for mid week discussions and community, bite sized videos to complement weekly topics, and more.

My name is Heidi Steel and I live with my husband and four children in South East England. I am an ex-teacher turned unschooling facilitator who moved beyond the traditional paradigms of the classroom when I became disillusioned with the education system. I have been unschooling for ten years and currently have four children who have never been to school and are happy living and learning as they go. I love the lifestyle that our family has and am confident in its educational benefits. The world needs to know that there are alternatives to school. Too many children and families feel trapped by their schooling but enter home educating replicating school at home and repeating the same traumatic experiences within their family walls. It is heart breaking. There is a way for families to thrive without school, without school like learning. It is possible to grow strong healthy relationships and for our children to develop and learn without the pressure of curriculum and schedules and tests.
