A summary
Treasure Our Youths, brought to you by Treasure Me Kids London, is on a mission to provide the young people of Waltham Forest with a safe, engaging, and enjoyable space for them to flourish. Here children can make new friends, try new activities and experiences under the supervision of our dedicated team. Parents and carers can leave their children completely confident that they will have a great time. Our HAF scheme is a new initiative that is being launched to provide young people between the ages of 12 - 15 with an opportunity to participate in a wide range of stimulating activities. Participants will be able to learn from inspiring guest speakers who will deliver stand-alone workshops/ talks on topics such as Health & Fitness, Life Skills, Personal Finance, and Website Design among others. Learners will be able to participate in a variety of sporting activities, including athletics, cricket and football at a level that suits their individual abilities. These sessions will be delivered by qualified, experienced teachers, supported by members of our Junior Leader Programme. Learners will also be able to improve their knowledge of food and nutrition in a series of healthy eating workshops. These sessions are designed to equip participants to make healthier food choices. For those interested in the Arts, there will be collaborative, interactive Art, Design and Performing Arts workshops. Trips will provide an opportunity for all our participants to visit some exciting venues. At the heart of this new initiative is our commitment to raising aspirations in our young people. We believe that all young people have the right to access stimulating and inclusive holiday provisions and welcome all young people, regardless of their financial, physical, or neurological barriers.
