A summary
When it comes to holiday camps, it’s our belief that every child should have the opportunity to experience a range of fun, exciting, and educational activities – which is why we love to deliver the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF). Over 18,400 parents have reviewed their child’s experience with Premier Education. They’ve given kind reviews about our coaches and our range of activities, but, most of all, they’ve loved the joy our holiday camps bring to their children every school break. We’ve been delivering action-packed holiday camps for over 20 years, during which we’ve formed strong relationships with Local Authorities and venues across the country. Through these relationships and our experience, we’ve been able to deliver HAF courses every Easter, Summer, and Winter school holidays since 2021 – helping thousands of children to experience the fun they deserve.
About your mentor
Premier Education
It's time to educate & activate the world!
We’re the UK’s largest provider of school physical activity and childcare. But we weren’t always that way. Back in 1999, our founder David Batch set up the very first Premier Education session – football camps. Since then we’ve grown, evolving into the nationwide organisation that now delivers more than 18 million hours of activity to children across the country each year. Inspiring a life-long love of sport and being active is at the heart of everything we do. As the organisation grew, so did our goals, vision, and values – and they all culminate to form our Culture Code. The five pillars of our culture helps determine every single part of Premier Education… Educating and empowering Sharing and developing expertise and knowledge to create opportunity, bring joy, and inspire growth. Working together, being accountable A collaborative culture where diverse perspectives are valued, individuals take ownership and are responsible for the outcomes. Changing lives, creating futures Connecting with our communities and impacting those we serve, we nurture the passion and self-belief in every individual. Purpose driven, forward thinking Delivering success through a clear intent, an innovative approach and effective implementation. Trusted and caring Fostering respectful relationships with mutual understanding, consideration and empathy. Since the very beginning, Premier Education has been run by the experts. Over the years, we’ve grown an experienced and varied team – bringing in the best from all aspects of business, and making sure that we’re impacting as many lives as we can. We’re developed partnerships with a number of National Governing Bodies, as well as sitting on four Government steering groups for sport and education. However, our excellent HQ staff aren’t the only ones that have come on board. As the organisation has grown, we’ve expanded into a franchise model. This enables us to offer a service that’s local, personal, and uniques to every area of the country; parents and schools get to see the direct benefits of this service – and have come to expect the consistent high standards that we maintain. We couldn’t do what we do without the support from our 1000+ network of coaches, who are on the front line embodying everything that Premier Education stands for – changing lives through physical activity. Our coaches deliver almost 90 different activities, from badminton to boccia, handball to hockey, and much (much) more. There’s something for every child, of every ability, to explore and enjoy with Premier Education.
Premier Education Holiday Camps
The summer holidays are where it started, with holiday clubs set up to entertain children during the long break from school. In greater numbers than ever before, Premier Education’s Holiday Camps help parents out with their school holiday childcare plans. For the kids, they guarantee time spent making new friends, having fun, and building confidence through an array of unrivalled activities. We want every child to have an incredible experience, every time. For that to happen, we ask that they come fully prepared for the day ahead. Here’s what they need: Weather appropriate clothing Children will be taking part in a range of exciting activities, which may be indoors or outside. The weather can be unpredictable at the best of times, but it’s crucial to check the forecast and pack them a bag with the clothing they’re likely to need. If it’s raining – they need a coat, even if it’s a thin one. If it’s going to be hot, please consider shorts rather than trousers. For some courses, we even suggest a change of clothes – just in case. Sunscreen The essential component for a week of fun in the sun. It’s great when the sun is shining, and it can make each week of the school holidays that bit more memorable, but the sun has its dangers too – especially in the height of summer. We’ve teamed up with Melanoma Fund to bring you the ‘outdoor kids sun safety code’: Prepare: Try and ensure you put suncream on before leaving the house. If you’re attending one of our holiday camps, always apply sun cream before arrival. Protect: Along with sunscreen, always wear a hat (and sunglasses if you can) during hot summer days. SPF30 or above is recommended by our partners at the Melanoma Fund. Shade: Avoid direct sunlight during peak sunshine hours, especially at lunchtime. Seek shade whenever possible. Hydrate: Make sure you drink lots of water to keep you hydrated. When attending a Premier Education holiday camp, please bring a refillable water bottle to top up throughout the day! Lead by example: Take pride in being a good influence and show your sun protection measures to others, encouraging them to do the same! Make sure your child comes with adequate sunscreen protection, as our camp leaders will be asking them to apply it regularly throughout the day. Plenty of Water (and a refillable bottle) Hydration is important for all age groups year-round, but during the hottest months of the year, it is essential that children aged 4-12 child stay hydrated throughout the day. Please make sure that your child arrives at camp with a full water bottle (ideally one that is refillable!) Our Summer Holiday Camps No matter what activities your child loves, we host holiday camps that are sure to pique their interest. From team sports, to fun games and arts and crafts, there’s always something for kids to enjoy while school is out for summer. We have four holiday club types available at our various camp locations:
