Winter Painting Retreat

Richard Heys

A summary
Catching the Spirit:
Shaping the Fleeting Moment
by exploring accident and intention
Four days to step out of everyday life and into the immersive, colourful world of the studio painting in the beautiful surrounds of Emerson College. In these four days we will begin to open up and explore abstract space, structure and colour. Through drawing and painting we will explore relationships and wholeness within the artwork, focusing on composition and placement. We will use the immediacy and vibrancy of acrylics to develop these dynamics in our exciting colour conversations.
You'll need to bring a specific list of materials with you - you're welcome to message me for the list if you'd like to receive it before booking.
