What we'll do
We will explore the significance of the arts, particularly theatre, in the world. The arts are essential for delving into ideas, discussions on important issues and examining human relationships. We will then use these insights to gradually delve into creating drama by devising scenes created around the theme of the future. We will utilise various forms of art such as dance, poetry, singing/music, and any other relevant forms throughout the devising process. Polly and Jemima, our drama leaders are excited to delve further into this with you!

The Cracked Slipper Company provides free-to-attend weekly drama groups, events and workshops for young people between 7 and 25 years old. We are a registered charity and we are based at the Kindle Centre in Hereford

Hi, I’m Polly and I have recently finished my degree at Guildford School of Acting! During my degree I also taught on the weekends, so when the opportunity to become a co drama leader came up in my home town, I knew I had to go for it!

I'm an actor, singer and drama and musical theatre teacher. I love the arts and creating theatre pieces!
Learning aim
Aim 1
To devise, collaborate and share ideas, all going towards a final piece. This will be brought together in the last few sessions with the Cracked Slipper Company to be filmed.
