What we'll do
We're excited to invite you to an exclusive Team Sport Go-Karting event! This thrilling activity is specially arranged for those on Free School Meals. Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping experience with provided helmets, gloves, and essential safety briefings to ensure a fun and secure ride. Additionally, we've got your lunch covered! Enjoy a delicious meal together, and for those observing a fast, we're happy to pack your lunch to take home. Get ready to rev your engines and challenge your friends to see who crosses the finish line first. It's going to be a day full of excitement, camaraderie, and speed! Please be on time and be able to make your own way to the track.

Bristol Horn Youth Concern

Bristol Horn Youth Concern is a community interest company (CIC) that was formed to support young people aged 11-19, mainly from an East African, though not exclusively Somali background. We provide a range of activities and support including sports, leadership skills, advice, and training on employment. Our aim is to provide positive opportunities and activities for young people to reduce the risk of falling into criminal activity including gangs, using drugs and anti-social behaviour. We educate young people on the consequences of their choices and empower them to make better choices and provide them with the tools to do so. We organise weekly sporting sessions including basketball and football for young people including girls. They are run by qualified sports coaches and youth workers. We also have detached youth work teams who go out into the community, make contact and engage with young people. They encourage them to join our activities. We do this proactively and also reactively in response to concerns from the community about antisocial behaviour.
