I'm very happy to be taking part in the Eequ Easter Learning Festival in Forest Row. About the class: Students start to learn how to hold and use a blush with Sumi ink by learning some strokes. After learning the basic of techniques and strokes, move on to practice a simple Japanese word. By the end of the class, you will be able to write your chosen word such as your name and favourite word and will take it home with you.

When your mentor provides a strapline it will go here
I began learning calligraphy when I was 6 years old under the tutelage of a master who was a friend of my grandmother. Straight away I gained a passion and love for the beauty of calligraphy. I now live in Surrey, UK with my British husband and a baby daughter. I run classes and create customised art work for restaurants, shops and individuals. My aim is to show and teach people around the world about the beauty of Japanese calligraphy. I believe that through this I can give people a great knowledge of the Japanese soul and the heart of the Japanese culture.
