A summaryEach session is 11am to 3pm. All sessions are free to any child, let us know if you receive free school meals. Each session includes art, healthy eating at lunch (provided by us, children involved in making healthy options) finished off with performing arts at the end with a view to complete a performance to parents at the end of the session.
We enjoy letting young people learn through different art mediums as you can see from our photos we have a successful summer school each year as well as the opportunity for our autumn school holiday club and Christmas clubs.
We also offer year round performing arts term time on a Wednesday eve and Saturday afternoon.
As well as operating a youth drop in and youth club on a Friday evening.
***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

WHO ARE WE?
Gizmo DIY Theatre Company is a children and young people's charity that have been running for nearly 20 years. We work with children from all over hastongs and St Leonards on Sea with many going onto excel in higher education and some at university.
Gizmo has been a pillar stone in the local community providing free meals to families both in sessions and throughout the covid pandemic where we could reach up to 150 children and adults.
