A summary
Day camp for children aged 8-15 who have Down syndrome to come and relax, play games and have fun with friends. Activities will include ball games and various indoor sport activities, board games and enjoying a packed lunch with friends. Recreational games will encourage team spirit and leadership skills. We will also have music and dance sessions, where children can learn simple rhythms and movements. This not only promotes physical activity, but also helps the children express themselves in a new and fun way. Lastly, we will have quiet time for relaxation and reflection. During this time, children can read books, play with puzzles or simply rest. This will help them to unwind and recharge, ready for the next day's activities.
