A summary
Join us at Felixstowe Library with artist Lulu Horsfield for this free creative workshop for 10-16 year olds. Fri 03 Jan 2025 09:45 - 15:30 Future Animators: 2D Stop Frame Animation Workshop with Lulu Horsfield This workshop is part of The Blank Page Project. Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks! This one day workshop will introduce future animators to 2D stop frame animation using their own ideas, artwork and storytelling skills. We will be encouraging participants to tell their own stories through moving image, by exploring 2D methods of animation using iPad technology. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own art work in different ways and learn how to work with stop frame animation techniques to make their own short film. The film will be sent home afterwards to showcase! The wellbeing of our young people is really important to us and time outdoors is a key part of that. With this in mind, where possible a short walk or time outdoors will be incorporated into the workshop days. This will be supervised by the staff running the workshops and will also be weather dependent. Please ensure your child has a coat and sensible footwear! If your booking is made within 72 hours of the workshop, we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary requirements. Please get in touch with the library location for the workshop to discuss options. Please note that whilst we welcome all young people, our staff are not specifically SEND trained. This workshop is for 10-16 year olds only. If you feel your child requires additional support in the form of adult attendance in order to access this workshop, contact us by emailing katie.puls@suffolklibraries.co.uk. Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
