REIN was first established as a charity in 1975 with the aim to:​ Eliminate racial discrimination and promote equality of opportunity, justice and good relations between persons of different racial groups. Our objectives, to work with partners and stakeholders to eliminate discrimination and promote equalities are enshrined in the creation of our organisation and are at the heart of the ethos of our work with communities across Newham. Our objectives include: Development of equalities case work Continued educational support work on equalities issues within schools Development of youth projects to support young people Development of partnerships to grow services and ensure equalities is at the forefront of community engagement. ​ Our Vision Eliminate racial discrimination and promote equality of opportunity and justice for all people. Our Values Diversity - we celebrate the diversity of the community in Newham and reflect this in all our work. To engage and support the most excluded members of our community. To support the community and individuals to take greater control of decisions which impact on their lives and their communities.
SEND
HAF clubs are inclusive for children with low levels of SEN and/or disability, who can participate in universal settings. We also have specialist programmes for those children and young people who require specialist support. Each Club will assess their suitability to provide sufficient support, based on your child/young person’s needs, on a case-by-case basis. Email us for any queries on HAF@newham.gov.uk
