A summary
I follow the waldorf curriculum, so start with stories ans verses to introduce knitting and crochet. We make our own knitting needles with wooden dowels. Depending on skill level I have a range of projects and patterns, thay build skills. The aim is that the projects are short enough to complete, to have success, but also challenging, for achievement, with choice of colours and variables to make projects personal and enjoyable.
I offer 2 sessions on a.monday.morning. A younger one, with parents support and a sessions for 6+ for children who happy to be dropped off.

Throughout the holiday I will be there between 10 and 12 to offer children opportunity to do their handwork but also just play

Flo Perrett
Lifetime crafter, been a handwork teacher for 3 years, I'm a weaver and interested in natural fibres, sustainable materials. I'm a great believer in the power of crafting in supporting children's (and adults), will, dexterity, visual, mathematical development, as well as supporting mental health. The list goes on. There is also a lot of fun in the space created by handwork, to tell stories, jokes, feel safe and relaxed.
