What we'll do
CURRENTLY THE REMAINDER OF SUMMER HAF PLACES WITH ARTPOD HAVE BEEN RESERVED FOR ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE NEURODIVERGENT. Do you have creative kids who also love the beach? Then join our in our Art Experience Days this summer! Learn top techniques with real artists and make new friends! We’ll be having enormous fun with countless art materials, from 3D to science art, and canvas to clay art, there is something for everyone! Each day there are new materials and activities that promote self-expression and imaginative exploration. Examples include, painting and drawing, sculpture and sewing, slime and potions, grow your own art, to building and decorating. We have purposefully chosen a menu of art activities that can be easily adapted to suit all ages and abilities. Artpod studio has a messy room and a quiet room, so that we can cater for children who need a calm space or need to move around a bit more. We’ll also include fun-filled visits and activities at the beach just outside our front door! All materials, snacks and delicious food are included. A few T&Cs from Brighton & Hove City Council: • Eligibility criteria – Brighton & Hove HAF funded places are for children and young people in reception to year 11 who receive benefits-related free school meals. • Limits on bookings – Over the summer, Eequ will permit each eligible participant to be booked on to 16 HAF places across all providers in the city. If a session is not attended, HAF places cannot be added back on to an individual’s allocation, regardless of reason. It is therefore important that sessions are cancelled before the activity starts, and ideally giving a minimum of a few days’ notice where possible to allow other children to benefit. Bookings can be managed by the Booker by logging into Eequ and reviewing their Schedule.
