A summary
Join our Dads and Lads Group Walking community (daughters welcome)! You will be part of a supportive group of men, led by qualified walking leads who you can walk with, connect with nature, and get familiar with Oldham's beautiful walking routes. We have also partnered with a charity to raise much needed funds to feed needy families iftar this Ramadan. For just £50, you can provide a family of up to six with a food pack with enough nutritious food for one whole month! This Ramadan feed a fasting family whilst fighting for them to never go hungry again. The messenger of Allah SAW said ““Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” Sunan Ibn Majah 1746 (Sahih) Our food packs will be delivered in: Mali Afghanistan Syria Palestine Yemen Lebanon Uyghur refugee camps Rohingya refugee camps You can donate here: https://humanaid.org/f/manchester-iftar-1k-47a8 Don't worry if it rains - we'll provide you with brollies to keep you dry. We will meet at the Dovestone Reservoir car park - OL3 7NE. If you don't have transport, get in touch and we will arrange a lift for you. The walk will be intermediate, and may involve a little scrambling, so come prepared with comfortable clothing and grippy footwear. We will provide FREE refreshments, so you have no excuses :-) Please arrive on time. Supported by 10GM and GM Walking.
