From their unique ecology to their versatile uses, you'll gain a deeper understanding of these magnificent trees. The morning session will be in the classroom, overlooking the stunning Blairs Loch, and in the afternoon, we will walk around the loch, putting your newfound ID skills into practice with a wee test back in the classroom at the end of the day for those up for the challenge! Who is the workshop for? Forest school leaders, tree surgeons, conservation volunteers, nature lovers, gardeners, foragers, bushcraft practitioners, forest bathing guides and eco-therapists, complete beginners, ... all welcome! What to Bring: - Warm clothes for when we head outside - Walking boots/Wellington boots plus shoes for wearing inside the classroom - Waterproofs - Notebook - Lunch and snacks (Jennie will provide tea and coffee) *Please let Jennie know of any additional learning needs (i.e. dyslexia) or medical conditions before the start of the course. Travel The nearest train station is Forres. If you require a lift from the train station, please contact Jennie. What previous students have said Wonderful day – thank you. The sign of a good course is that feeling of “total immersion” Really glad I came, going away enthused to stop and look more closely! Thanks very much Really enjoyable, great format for the course with mix of classroom, outdoor and back to putting newfound skills to the test! Very informative and practical without being overwhelming
