What we'll do
I offer face to face sessions from my home in the heart of the Surrey woodlands. The sessions are designed to be fun, motivating and supportive. The child’s individual needs will direct the sessions, with the aims of building confidence, engaging with the learning and supporting the child to reach their potential. I support children from 6 years old to 16. My tutoring sessions cover Maths or English and the home education lessons cover Maths, English, Life Skills and Outdoor Learning. I have been teaching and tutoring for the last 15 years and recently left as school teaching to focus more time on tutoring and home educating children who need extra support. My ethos is to make learning fun, motivating the children to reach their potential. I love seeing their progress and increased confidence from the individualised teaching. I run my lessons from my home, set in the woodlands of Surrey, which is ideal for the home education sessions, as well as quiet and relaxed for the tutoring.
