*Only 3 spaces left!* Come and enjoy a fun day baking in celebration of St Patrick's day with internationally renowned baker & author, Emmanuel Hadjiandreou. With Emmanuel's expert guidance & expertise you will learn the necessary practical skills, knowledge and confidence to enable you to return home and recreate delicious Irish breads. During the day you will make a range of breads including: Barmbrack Potato Farls Soda breads.- beer, wholemeal or fruit. Emmanuel will demonstrate the milling of grains and use freshly milled flour to create fabulous tasting Irish breads. With a maximum of 8 in the class it is very hands-on with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. No experience of baking needed as the kneading, proofing, shaping and baking will all be explained fully. The workshop starts promptly at 10am (Arrive anytime from 9.30am for tea/coffee and homemade cookies) and will run through until 4.30/5pm latest. This workshop is led by our master-baker Emmanuel. Emmanuel is totally passionate about teaching bread making. Originally from South Africa, where he trained, he has worked all around the world. In the UK for Gordon Ramsey, the Savoy, Flour Power City Bakery, Daylesford Organics and Judges Bakery in Hastings, where he now lives. In Germany, he mastered the art of world-class stollen. While at Daylesford, the award-winning organic farm shop in Oxfordshire, he won a Soil Association Organic Food Award, with several other bread creations earning the Highly Commended award. Bread is his passion! Emmanuel has published three books: How to Make Bread (Guild of Food Writers award) Making Bread Together How to Make Sourdough ---------------------- The Artisan Bakehouse is an independent family-owned and run business; the passion and vision of husband and wife team Les & Louise Nicholson. The Artisan Bakehouse comprises beautiful 16th-century cottages, pretty gardens & woodlands. Our vision has always been to embrace the tranquil location here and to create an experience where people can learn to make delicious bread & foods and to spend time enjoying local seasonal Sussex produce, relaxing and restoring themselves in this idyllic location. Strengths to develop

Bread making is a very physical process. The weighing and preparing of ingredients along with hand-kneading will ensure that you get a good workout! Many people find the hands-on experience of the ingredients and rhythmical kneading of the dough very calming and even therapeutic!

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.

No refunds are given except in the case of a cancellation by the Mentor.

1. If you need to cancel your booking within 21 days of the workshop/event no refund is payable. (if however we can resell your place we will refund your payment to you less a 25% admin fee) 2. Outside of 21 days of the date of the workshop/event we will provide a full refund less a 25% admin fee. 3. In any event that it is necessary for us to cancel your workshop/event we will offer a full refund or offer an alternative suitable date for you to attend.
