An inspiring & indulgent 2 days awaits ... Join internationally renowned baker & author, Emmanuel Hadjiandreou as he demonstrates the skills & techniques for you to recreate pastries & sweet breads at home. (Your lazy Sunday mornings with coffee just got better!) With Emmanuel's guidance & expertise you will learn the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to enable you to make laminated dough and the necessary rolling and shaping techniques. He will demonstrate and guide you through the whole process of making croissant dough which you will then rest overnight ready to create a range of delicious pastries on day 2. During the two days you will make a range of viennoiserie including: Brioche Cinnamon rolls Hokkaido Milk Bread Croissants Pain au chocolate Pain au raisin Danish Pastries With a maximum of 8 in the class it is very hands-on with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The Artisan Bakehouse

This workshop is led by our master-baker Emmanuel. Emmanuel is totally passionate about teaching bread making. Originally from South Africa, where he trained, he has worked all around the world. In the UK for Gordon Ramsey, the Savoy, Flour Power City Bakery, Daylesford Organics and Judges Bakery in Hastings, where he now lives. In Germany, he mastered the art of world-class stollen. While at Daylesford, the award-winning organic farm shop in Oxfordshire, he won a Soil Association Organic Food Award, with several other bread creations earning the Highly Commended award. Bread is his passion! Learning aims

Learn how to make Brioche, Cinnamon rolls, Hokkaido Milk Bread, Croissants, Pain au chocolate, Pain au raisin and Danish Pastries from scratch.

Strengths to develop

Enriched dough making is a very physical process. The weighing and preparing of ingredients along with hand-kneading will ensure that you get a good workout! Many people find the hands-on experience of the ingredients and rhythmical kneading of the dough very calming and even therapeutic!

My experience is an educational activity and the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 therefore applies. After the 14 day period my standard policy will apply.

No refunds are given except in the case of a cancellation by the Mentor.


1. If you need to cancel your booking within 21 days of the workshop/event no refund is payable. (if however we can resell your place we will refund your payment to you less a 25% admin fee) 2. Outside of 21 days of the date of the workshop/event we will provide a full refund less a 25% admin fee. 3. In any event that it is necessary for us to cancel your workshop/event we will offer a full refund or offer an alternative suitable date for you to attend.
