What we'll do

The majority of my time is spent with my commissions which are unusual and adventurous but I am interested in taking on one or two budding local photographers in a mentoring role. This would ideally be an ongoing and flexible arrangement as I may need to travel at short notice in order to respond to my clients. In this mentoring role, I will work with you over a period of a few weeks and share some of the secrets of professional photography. I will set you some specific tasks that will allow you to practice and hone your newly found skills. How I got into photography

I stumbled into it, after studying Religion and Philosophy at SOAS university I took some time off and travelled, upon my return someone sponsored my first exhibition and it went on from there. Within a month or so I was first assistant to Robert Fairer for American Vogue and we were travelling all over the world photographing all the international fashion shows.

Strengths to develop

Developing a Vision for your work is showing to others, through your photographs, what you see in your mind’s eye. It is therefore about you. It is about how you see the world, about what you see that others do not see, and about your emotional response to the scenes that you photograph. In many ways, it is about your personality.
