A SUMMARY
I offer coaching sessions for teenagers and young people in Higher Education. I have over 30 years of teaching experience, making it easy for me to develop positive relationships with this age group. I truly believe that the coaching process can have a powerful impact on learners' self-esteem and motivation levels. Sessions are delivered from my peaceful home in Hanover, Brighton. They are confidential one-to-one hour-long bespoke sessions, focusing on the goals set by the young person at the start of the process. A variety of topics and issues can be explored in a series of sessions for young people aged 14-18. For example: lack of confidence/self-belief motivation levels time management study/revision skills worry/anxiety underachievement procrastination goal-setting My aim is to make the sessions positive, practical and productive. My young learners are encouraged to take responsibility, set realistic goals and build resilience, whilst at the same time, find enjoyment in making progress! Prices: Single one-hour sessions: £40 per session. Package of 6 one-hour sessions: £35 per session. Contact me to arrange a coaching package to suit your needs. Experience shows that committing to a series of sessions delivers better results for the learner. This package is designed to fit in with a typical half term time period, thus offering a student crucial, holistic support, for example, leading up to GCSE or A level examinations. Providing your teenager or young adult with a coach to support them through a challenging time can improve their chances of success. It can also take the pressure off your relationship with them and can leave them with new skills and coping strategies, which they can take with them into the next phase of their lives. Make a start today. Contact me for further information and a free, no obligation, consultation where you will be able to find out more about the nature of coaching and whether I am the right coach for you.

Qualifications • BA Hons University of Warwick • PGCE King’s College London • EMCC/EQA Qualified Coach Practitioner (Life Coach) with TPC Leadership I have lived in Brighton since 1995, working as a Secondary School Teacher, bringing up my daughter and enjoying life by the seaside! Like many people in their middle age, I wanted a change. I wanted to use the skills I’d developed and the experiences I had gained over time, in a new and different way. Coaching seemed to fit the bill. When I was teaching, I loved developing positive relationships with students and motivating them and now I can do this with my learners, as their coach. I help people of all ages and backgrounds find out what it is they want to do and need to do to feel happier, more fulfilled with their lives. This might include tackling feelings of being ‘stuck’, or of low self esteem after a challenging time. The topics are endless! My role is to listen without prejudice and to help learners set goals so that they can move forward.
