A summary
Kids Club is an activity camp run by Prostars, a sports coaching company delivering high-quality physical education in schools and communities. All staff are DBS checked and trained in First Aid and Safeguarding. Each day, children take part in a variety of sports, including Dodgeball, Gymnastics, Dance, Archery, Football, Tag Rugby, Basketball, Netball, Lacrosse, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis, and Yoga. Activities change daily, and children help choose what they want to play. We also offer games and outdoor activities such as Forest School games, tag games, parachute games, and more. Some weeks include themed sessions and special equipment like Blow-Up Football Dartboards, Glow-in-the-Dark Dodgeball, and Fishing (not every day). Arts and crafts are included daily, with all materials provided. Children can take home their creations at the end of each session. As a HAF provider, we supply a daily packed lunch from Morrisons, including wraps (Chicken, Ham, or Cheese), salad, fruit, a yoghurt, a healthy bar, crisps, and a water bottle. Throughout my time in education I have always had a clear interest in providing opportunities for not only primary aged children in their PESSPA journey but also for students taking their next steps in further education. In my job role I deliver the PE lead role to a local primary school and oversee the delivery of Prostars in all our other partnered schools. We are a growing company which is partnered with Forest Sports Education with our model being that the students at FSE gain valuable experience with Prostars. We then work with these students to help them develop both with practical delivery of PE and the Teaching side to the role.
