A SUMMARY
Starting with nothing but a computer and a dream, we'll work together and learn how to make and publish a website. Each mentee will get to make their own website, starting from nothing and learning to use the popular website tool WordPress to design their website. Over these three sessions we'll work together to securely set up WordPress on a server, design it to match the personality of the mentee, and finally make it live for friends, family, and all the world to see! Each mentee will need to bring their own laptop capable of connecting to Wifi. I have been using computers and the internet since before I could talk, and have been making websites for a decade. I am a professional WordPress and PHP developer, and have made numerous different websites using the platform. In my time as a web developer, I have taught many people of a variety of ages how to set up or edit WordPress websites, and supported their growing knowledge of web design in general.
