A summary
The Wingate Centre is a small independent charity that provides community activities and day services for individuals with SEND. We also have accommodation for school residentials and group holidays, specialising in SEND short breaks and holidays. In addition, we deliver HAF provision, (Holiday Activities and Food is a government-funded scheme that offers free holiday sessions, including meals and activities, for children eligible for benefits-related free school meals) through Cheshire East for children with SEND.
With years of experience supporting individuals with SEND, The Wingate Centre HAF holiday club offers a programme designed to engage participants while meeting their individual needs. Our timetable includes a wide range of activities such as arts and crafts, Fun Fitness and Rebound Therapy, along with time for free play on our outdoor equipment and relaxation in our sensory room.
