A summary
Our football camps offer an exciting and educational experience for young players. Led by experienced coaches, the camp emphasises skill development in areas like dribbling, passing, and shooting. It provides a mix of training sessions, friendly matches, and fun football-related activities. The camp is designed to accommodate different age groups and skill levels, ensuring that every child can participate and improve their abilities. Beyond football skills, the camp promotes teamwork, discipline, and a love for the sport. It offers a supportive and inclusive environment where kids can make friends and create lasting memories while enhancing their football skills. Due to our links with Tameside Active and the HAF programme, we are able to offer FREE places to Tameside children that are entitled to means-tested free school meals. A FREE packed lunch will provided to all attendees. We look forward to seeing you there!

Waterloo AFC is a grassroots football club in Ashton-under-Lyne that embraces individuals of all ages and abilities. Committed to fostering a love for football within the community, the club provides a variety of teams and programs catering to youth and adults. One of our core strengths is our inclusivity, ensuring that players with varying skill levels can participate and grow in the sport. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, Waterloo AFC creates a welcoming atmosphere that encourages skill development, teamwork, and the joy of playing football.
What you'll need
The sessions will take place on a 3G pitch so appropriate footwear should be worn. Football boots are preferable but trainers are fine. All children MUST wear shin pads. We recommend that children wear clothing suitable for taking part in outdoor activities (football kits/tracksuits/shorts and T-shirt are the norm) and all children should bring a coat in case of bad weather. All children should bring a drink to each session in a bottle that is easy to distinguish as their own. We recommend that the bottle be marked with the player’s name.
