What we'll do
This is an online course on: Yoga, mindfulness, and breathing techniques: An holistic approach Dealing with our emotions is not easy for anybody, you and your students can benefit from yoga, mindfulness, and breathing. These are lifelong techniques based on nature and energy. We will examine strategies to help with stress, anxiety, fear, and feelings of being overwhelmed providing the opportunity to become more resilient, confident, and independent. With a focus on primary school aged children.

Namaste, my name is Gaynor and I have 20 years of experience teaching across all the Key stages. I trained as a Physical Education Teacher. Yoga is my passion and I have over 20 years of practice. I studied in Rishikesh (capital of yoga), India, as a Yoga and Meditation teacher. Yoga has helped me remain flexible, strong, and pill-free. Because of my educational background, I specialise in teacher training yoga. I am dedicated to bringing yoga and mindfulness to as many pupils as possible so that they can feel the benefits just as I have. By training the staff, we can touch the lives of so many more pupils.

As the Project Officer, I'm pleased to be organising the annual Forest School Association Conference. I am appearing as a Mentor on each workshop to give me oversight and allow me to help out on the day, I may not actually be on your workshop.
What we'll do
Once you have booked on to the course you will be sent an invoice for the £150. Once paid you will receive links to the course, plus everything you will need to safely and legally teach yoga. On the day you will learn a variety of mindfulness, breathing techniques and postures. You will work in breakout rooms and teach them to one another. This will be assessed. Once the course is complete you will receive your certification.
