Wardle Skyline moors block mentored by Naz Maguire

A summary

Come along to enjoy this 7 mile hike of Rochdale's rugged terrain of the Pennine Hills and moorlands. We will adventure through the Wardle skyline, where magnificent views await from the summits of Brown Wardle Hill, Middle Hill and Rough hill which are approximately 1300 ft high, seeing the wind-farm up close before descending the causeway pack-horse route. This will be a full day event so a rucksack with lunch and plenty of water will be needed, snacks too (I recommend flapjacks/banana's etc and maybe some sweets to keep you going up those steeper hills :) ). I have some hiking poles you could borrow although it's first come first serve. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather i.e. waterproofs if raining, suncream and hats if sunny etc. Adults only. This will be a long hike so a good level of fitness is required. If you're ready for adventure, what are you waiting for? get booked on :)
