A summary
We will meet up at the Blackstone Edge car park, which is just below the White house pub, on Halifax road. This walk has some uneven footpaths up and down some steep hills and is not a flat path. It's adventurous! After crossing the main road, we will hike uphill along the pennine bridleway, passing some picturesque quarries and the famous Aiggin stones along the way. At the trig point, there are beautiful views over Greater Manchester, on a clear day you can even see as far as the Snowdonia mountains of Wales! Bring a packed lunch, a drink and please wear appropriate hiking clothing and shoes, depending on the weather. It's better to be prepared and have waterproof outer layers, in your rucksack.

I absolutely love being in the outdoors and in my spare time I like to go mountain biking and sailing.
