A SUMMARY
I teach A Level Chemistry because I love the subject! I am delighted to teach pupils who are just wanting to pass, through to those who are looking to improve their grade, and also those who are reaching for the top grades, perhaps with the intention of studying medicine, dentistry etc. I offer one-to-one support with tricky topics such as: Structure and Bonding Moles Calculations Reaction Kinetics Transition Metal Chemistry and all other aspects of the syllabus. Teaching methods include use of Molymods, past paper practice and extension questions. Tuition is tailored to the individual and I can offer bespoke revision sessions for students who are re-sitting their exams. I specialise in the OCR and Higher Level IB courses, and have also tutored students in the AQA A-Level specification. I am happy to tutor pupils entering for the AS exam. The first session is introductory, after which there is an opportunity to either continue or cancel the course in which case a full refund would be provided. I am a qualified teacher with many years of experience at Sixth Form College. I came into teaching after working for years in the private sector as a systems analyst. I have also worked in the voluntary sector in a women's retail collective. I love chemistry and so I just teach chemistry. It's a challenging subject which is what makes it so rewarding to teach and learn.
