A SUMMARY
Join specialist Thai Cookery tutor Nic Eadie of street food company Thai Angle for a 2 hour, hands-on workshop looking at quick to make, authentic Thai dishes. At this workshop you will explore the fundamentals of Thai cooking, looking at flavours, spices and techniques for making authentic Thai dishes using lovely fresh ingredients. Nic will teach you how to make a couple of his favourite, quick cook dishes: a delicious pad Thai noodles and a tasty Thai stir fry. He will also show you how to make a classic Thai green curry. The recipes can be made as vegetarian or meat options, depending on your dietary requirements. This course is aimed at 14-18 year olds and will cover core, practical cookery skills aimed at building confidence and technique in the kitchen. The workshop will be taught at our specialist, professional teaching kitchen near Wych Cross.

When your mentor provides a strapline it will go here
I have been cooking ever since I could climb on a chair and reach the kitchen table. I trained as a chef at Leiths School of Food and Wine, where I graduated from the professional diploma with distinction and won the Louis Latour wine student of the year award. I have been teaching cookery for 9 years, initially teaching at a number of London cookery schools before opening my own professional teaching kitchen in Sussex 3 years ago. I have also run cookery demonstration at large events at the Excel Centre and have filmed how-to videos for GoodHousekeeping UK. My work has been featured in The Times, Brides Magazine, Squires Sugarcraft, Fabulous Magazine and the Mirror. I have written two books: The Vegetarian Pantry, a modern, seasonal vegetarian book focussing on fresh and simple cooking and Supercute Cookies, a biscuit baking and decorating book. I also put together the recipes for the book, Lost in London: Adventures in the City’s Wild Outdoors. I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers. At The Round Table we teach people from a whole spectrum of ages and backgrounds. We combine our private courses with working with local charities and community projects to ensure that as many people have access to the kitchen as possible. What underpins all of our courses is a relaxed and inclusive kitchen which welcomes everyone and encourages people to gain confidence in all types of food and cooking. All of our tutors are trained chefs or industry specialists, ensuring that students have access to high quality classes from people who really know their stuff.
