Welcome to LPW Yate Youth!

Looking for somewhere fun, friendly and full of adventure? You've found it!

LPW Yate Youth is the place to be for young people aged 8–12, offering exciting open access youth sessions right in the heart of Yate. Whether you're catching up with friends, making new ones, trying something completely new or just looking for somewhere to belong, we've got a safe, welcoming space where everyone can be themselves.

Every session is packed with things to do. Challenge your friends to a game of pool, table tennis or sports, jump onto the PS4 or Xbox, get creative with arts and crafts, cook up something delicious in the kitchen, or simply relax and chat with our friendly Youth Workers. Best of all, every session includes a free freshly prepared meal, so no one goes home hungry.

A Different Adventure Every Week

At LPW, no two sessions are ever the same! We use exciting weekly themes to keep activities, challenges, games and even the food fresh, creative and full of surprises. From giant events and immersive experiences to themed cooking, crafts and competitions, there's always something new waiting around the corner.

This term's themes include:

? Week 1 – Festival Fever

The youth club comes alive with music, colour and festival vibes! Expect creative festival crafts, fun challenges, great food and plenty of opportunities to celebrate, dance and make unforgettable memories.

? Week 2 – Wild About Nature

Discover the natural world through exciting hands-on activities, meet incredible creatures with Scales and Tails Animal Encounters, and enjoy an unforgettable trip to Bristol Zoo Project. Perfect for curious minds and animal lovers!

? Week 3 – Carnival Craze

Step right up! Experience carnival games, giant inflatables, exciting competitions, themed food stalls and plenty of laughter as we transform the youth club into the greatest show in town.

? Week 4 – Generation Innovation

Think, build, experiment and create! Junk modelling, hands-on science, engineering challenges and mind-blowing simulations make this the perfect week for inventors and problem-solvers.

? Week 5 – Creative Chaos

Let your imagination run wild with a week packed full of arts and crafts, open mic performances, pop-up galleries, drama, music and endless opportunities to express yourself.

More Than Just a Youth Club

Our sessions are about much more than having fun. We help young people build confidence, develop friendships, learn new skills and discover what they're capable of.

For those who want to challenge themselves even further, we offer opportunities to work towards recognised awards including:

Duke of Edinburgh Award
South Gloucestershire Awards
ASDAN Accreditation

These achievements help young people gain confidence, develop life skills and celebrate everything they accomplish along the way.

Here When You Need Us

Our experienced Youth Workers are always on hand with a listening ear, encouragement and support. Whether a young person needs someone to talk to, help building confidence or simply a place where they feel accepted, we're here to help them thrive.

Come Along!

Whether you'd like to come every week, drop into one session or choose the activities that interest you most, everyone is welcome.

Simply book your place, come along and say hello—we can't wait to meet you!
