A small, supportive group led by an experienced mindfulness teacher and practitioner, exploring a range of themes including managing stress & low mood and being more present in our everyday life and relationships. Handbook and guided audio practices included. The practice of mindfulness has been proven to help people alleviate stress, be less anxious and more able to deal effectively with periods of depression and ill-health. The positive changes to memory, creative thinking and a compassionate response to oneself and others can have wide ranging benefits throughout your life. This is a Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course. MBSR covers learning the basic skill of mindfulness and includes the opportunity to explore a range of mindfulness practices including mindful movement, as well as learning strategies for dealing with difficulties including low mood and stress. I am an experienced mindfulness practitioner with over 30 years of personal practice and 20 years' teaching experience. Since setting up 'Love Mindfulness' I have taught more than 30 8-week mindfulness courses for adults, children and teenagers, as well as delivering training in social care and business organisations.
