What we'll do
This listing is for children that DO NOT receive benefit related Free School Meals. Enriching activities include team building activities to allow students to get to know each other, including drama games, a STEM activity, introducing each other through games etc. There will also be outdoor games and a treasure hunt. There will be an activity to build water rockets as an enterprise project. There are sports events, dance workshops and cake decorating, t-shirt design or origami. Through this program students will get to know their new peers and staff. The activities have been designed to engage young people, help them to work as team and develop a passion for learning. Dates: 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August 2023 Timings of the day: 9am to 2.30pm

Our vision is that every student at an Aldridge school will achieve academically beyond initial personal expectations and prior attainment. Their learning and experiences in education will give them a wide perspective on the opportunities open to them and they will develop the practical skills to access every opportunity they want in life.
What to wear?
Clothing appropriate for school. Footwear to be able to do sports during the day and be comfortable. Sunscreen. Hats for outside activities. Bag with pens, pencils.

What shall I bring?
-The school will provide a packed lunch including (sandwich, fruit and drink), if you haven’t informed us yet of any allergies or dietary requirements please email me with this information. -Your child will need their own water bottle every day and I would advise some sun screen as they will be outside at break and for some sports activities. -If your child requires medication (inhaler etc.) please make sure you have informed us of this and that they bring their medicine with them. -I would request that students don’t bring their mobile phones with them or if they do they are turned off.
