A SUMMARY
Are you a Marvel/DC Fan? Ever wanted to learn how to create your own comic strip? Join me in a Comic strip drawing lessons. We will begin by brainstorming our character options. Once we have a strong group of characters we will venture on to create our storyline and the world that our new characters will inhabit. Now for the fun part: Drawing! All comics are created in pencil first, then outlined in black pen. After that we scan your comic strip into the computer and start the colouring process. We can use Adobe or SketchArtist to add life and colour to our characters. This course can be a one off lessons or we can create a bespoke course where we will create an entire comic book which you can get professionally printed and keep forever. As I am sure most people understand, it can very difficult to coordinate a Time and Date. So if this course is something that you are interested in, please message me to coordinate a date, time and group size that works for you.
About your mentor
Nicola Stephenson
When your mentor provides a strapline it will go here
I have always loved comics. Growing up I was always reading 'Asterix and Obelix' comics and that love continued into adult hood. I have a whole shelf on my bookshelves just for my comics. I have done personalised comic books for companies, as birthday presents or just for the sheer love of the art form. I love nothing more than sitting at home all weekend and creating a new friend to put into a comic strip. Sometimes, if I have the time, i print out my comics and stitch the pages together and make a proper comic book. I went to a Steiner school when I was younger so bookbinding has always been a fun skill that I have enjoyed and Comic books felt like the perfect time to use that skill.
