A SUMMARY
Make time for yourself - away from the pressures of every day life - come and delve into the wonderful creative medium of acrylic painting. This is a series of five 90min workshops: Week 1 (21st Sep): Introduction to acrylic painting terms and equipment, experiment with using different mediums and techniques Week 2 (28th Sep): Use sunflowers as inspiration to use those new techniques Week 3 (4th Oct): Miniature painting Week 4 (11th Oct): Using a palette knife only, we’ll explore texture and abstract designs Week 5 (19th Oct): Acrylic pouring These workshops are best suited to teenage and adult participants.

After a life changing move from a career path in Zoology to Fine Art, Nell has worked in the arts and health industry for over 10 years both with children and adults. Finding her passion for creativity stifled in a management role, she decided to share that passion in a studio of her own. Nell envisions Arty Farty Retreat to be a space where anyone can be creative and gain confidence in being so: no matter their background, ability or beliefs, Nell believes everyone should be given the opportunity to be creative.
