A summary
Welcome to the Craft'd Summer SEWING camps! Perfect for any creative kid - boys and girls both welcome of course :) Please note, this camp will be held inside the Crowborough Community Centre, not on the Craft'd Bus. Our camp will run for 4 days (Monday-Thursday) from 10am-2:30pm. We will be using sewing machines to create loads of cool projects. Don't worry if you have never used a sewing machine before - you will be taken through all the steps of how to use one safely. Some of the projects on our plan this Summer include: ✂️ Patchwork cushions ✂️ Zipper pencil case ✂️ T-shirts ✂️ Cross body bags ✂️ Pillow cases ✂️ Creating art with fabric! We will be having lunch from 12-1 with an opportunity for some down time to do some chilled out crafting or some more active games. After lunch we will continue with our sewing projects. Please note, your child should join for ALL 4 DAYS of the camp. This is because some projects are longer and we will be working on them over 2 days. Also the skills are progressive, so we will start with easy projects and work our way up as their confidence improves. ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
About your mentors
Craft'd
Lets get creative!
Hi everyone, my name is Natalie and I run the Craft'd Bus and Craft'd sewing clubs and camps. I am originally a primary school teacher, but left teaching 8 years ago to become a self-employed craft teacher! I started Craft'd all the way in Shanghai, China but left at the end of 2018 and the Craft'd Bus was born! I am now able to travel all over the South East to run camps and parties. This will be my 8th year of running crafty camps and I can't wait to get creative all over again. My favourite crafts are sewing on a sewing machine, crochet and cross stitch!

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
