A summary
Dawn Russell and Lorraine Grayston from Eagle's Wing Centre for Contemporary Shamanism will introduce you to Shamanic Practitioner Practices and Processes working through the lens of the four elements: earth, air, fire and water. Sacred Earth are holding two weekends - Part One and Part Two - during which you can develop your knowledge and understanding of shamanic practices. Supporting you on your path to become a shamanic practitioner - and mentoring you in techniques for shamanic journeying and ceremony space-holding. The weekends offer a sound foundation of components, principles and underlying energy of Ceremony, holding space for another and helping them in their Shamanic Journey. The work will touch on supportive soul retrieval as a principle and concept to deeper healing work. These weekends are suitable for both beginners and intermediate/more experienced practitioners in a range of approaches and practices which support any shamanic healing process. They come under the umbrella of The Phoenix Journey, an exciting new Sacred Earth adventure (see below). The venue is our land at Sacred Earth, where we have 40 acres of beautiful woodland, lakes and meadows. You are invited to camp but there will also be indoor accommodation options available. Delicious, nutritious food will be provided throughout. The full journey is a unique, year-long quest; blending shamanic practitioner training, nature-based mentoring and cultural regeneration. It will support you to find your own sense of place, purpose and belonging. Some of the things you would gain, experience and learn over the course of a year: - Powerful shamanic practices and processing. - Advanced nature connection practices. - Deep sensory awareness skills. - Cultural regeneration practices. - Advanced interspecies communication. - Direct experiential learning and practice. - Deep mentoring and facilitation skills - Supportive learning on connection modelling and cultural mentoring. - Life teachings from ancient wisdom traditions. - Practices that draw out your unique gifts and talents. - Focus and alignment towards your personal goals.
About your mentors
Phil
Nature educator & environmentalist
Hello, I'm Phil Greenwood. I am the founder of Sacred Earth. I'm a former Royal Marine Commando but have spent the last 20 years working with young people in outdoor education and taking adults on deep nature connection journeys. I'm an experienced group facilitator, mentor and naturalist. I have studied, practiced and taught advanced shamanic and connection practices from both the British Isles and other indigenous cultures around the world. I'm also part of the global 8 Shields nature mentoring movement. I strongly believe that people need nature based rites-of-passage programmes to help them find their place in the world. At Sacred Earth we aim to do just that. Our courses and programmes help people develop their social and emotional intelligence through a range of experiential learning programmes, which can be tailored to and delivered at a site of your choice. We encourage creativity, community, ingenuity and a deep connection with the natural world.

Exploring and restoring our nature
It is one of my soul’s passion to accompany people though restoration, development and embracing of their own unique expression and relationship in their life walk. I have worked in therapeutic communities for 9 years and have over 30 years of practising and developing relationship to nature and the consciousness of life, through earth based practice, shamanism and deep psychological understanding. I have held many people (individuals and groups) in their own exploration of their relationship and connection to self, their own nature, the earth and life. Compassion and presence, the essence and expression of who each of us are, and the fundamental acceptance we receive from the earth, from nature, from the universe are the foundations for this work.

Loving rhythms and cycles of nature and life!
I work with the rhythms and cycles of nature and life using the mediums of holistic medicine including homeopathy energy work, shamanism and astrology. I bring to my work over 25 years of experience of choreographing and delivering workshops to groups and on a 1:1 basis. I’m passionate about deeply listening and holding spaces for people to touch in on their beauty, find healing through connection, know themselves and connect with their purpose and potential.
