What we'll do
This fun day will take place on the following dates: Thursday 28th March 10.30am - 2.30pm **If you would like to book a place please contact us in the first instance on 07971 423817 ** We are fully accessible and particularly welcome children and young people with S.E.N.D. and their siblings with family / carer, please contact us direct for more information and to book so that we can ensure that we can best support you so that you can get the most out of your day. At our Family Friendly & SEND event you you can; Get outdoors and active at the farm meeting our friendly animals on the way. Enjoy games and crafts, have a go at pottery and make something to take home, Easter Egg Hunt & Nature Trail, food and more. Make new friends and meet other families in a welcoming and supportive environment. We have some spare wellies and waterproofs and main activities undercover if wet. The Hereford Community Farm offers innovative support to people with additional needs through a programme of Animal Assisted Interventions, Therapeutic Horticulture and Equine Assisted Learning. Our vision is to provide innovative, caring and supportive life experiences, work opportunities and structured learning programmes for people of all ages and backgrounds who have specific difficulties and who would benefit from the therapeutic effects of working with animals, horticulture and the environment.
