A summary
The Friday Night Project's back and at a new venue! Sport sessions for teens: year 8 and above (aged 12 to 17) There's something for everyone and best of all it's completely free, with free snacks too! Booking is essential for this session, as spaces are limited. Games on the Astro and in the hall, including: football, basketball, tennis, badminton, dodgeball and more Chill out hub for games, crafts and snacks or just hang out. Studio classes with exercise classes and dance party. Children should not leave the session without letting a member of the Active Hastings team know. Active Hastings cannot take responsibility for any young people once they leave the venue. The Friday Night Project is free with thanks to funding from the Millions Hours Fund. This is a joint project between Active Hastings and Hastings Commons. Active Hastings
Sport and play sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is a partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 a day for children to get fitter, healthier and happier. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.
