A summary
Join us for a half-term treat for children aged around 5-12 years old.
Part 1: Slime Makers
Children will make a bespoke, scented slime to take home with them. They can choose from our seasonal specials (below) or create their own slimetastic concoction.
Seasonal Specials
* Penguin Party - pale blue jelly slime with silver glitter, tiny snowflakes and cute penguin toppers.
* Gummy Bears Go Crazy - creamy pink slime with mini gummy bear figures and bright party sprinkles.
* Northern Lights - glossy, dark blue/purple slime complete with gold glitter and glow in the dark stars.
* Frozen Dragon's Blood - bright red slime with gold glitter and a dragon topper. (No dragons will be harmed during the making of this slime).
Part 2 : Slime Busters
Children will learn the basic science of slime making. They'll devise their own experiment to rescue wrecked slime. They will learn to make a hypothesis and test it following scientific methodology.
Children learn best when they're having fun, so we make sure they don't even know it's educational. They think it's just messing, mixing and mashing. They absorb the science, but your carpet doesn't absorb the mess while they're experimenting.

Safety
If you'd like an hour's peace, you are welcome to leave your child during the workshop.
For their safety, we take a photo of you with your child and only allow them to leave with the person on the photo, unless you tell us beforehand that you would like to make another arrangement (such as Granny picking up).
We provide aprons, but please don't wear your best clothes just in case!

I have enjoyed over 20 years' experience of teaching, tutoring and educating and it is a real privilege to be part of any student’s learning journey. I believe it is as important to build a person's confidence and resilience as it is to help them learn a skill. Children learn when they're having fun. I want to provide a rich environment where everyone can learn at their own pace. My biggest achievement is not my formal qualifications, but having taught my own children at home. All three are now in their 20s and make me proud every day.
