What we'll do
On these farm days you will get a unique insight into where your food comes from including where crisps come from! Our aim is to provide a light-hearted look at farm animals and food for HAF-eligible children. A basic outline for the programme. Tuesday 4th Dog and horse care. Wednesday 5th. Cows.Sheep. Pigs Thursday 6th Goats. Cows. Two farmers visit. The young people will also have the opportunity to help with the cooking of their lunch. We will also be enjoying a fun tractor ride/driving experience (subject to age - 13yrs). Protective clothing will be provided but children should wear warm, waterproof clothes and steel toe-capped shoes if they have them (we will provide if they don't have them).
