A summary

We have been running Forest School at Glottenham for nearly 10 years, working with local schools, Home education and Scout groups and more recently with ESCC This is our third year of HAF provision Amongst our team we have 2 qualified level 3 forest school practitioners, a Medical herbalist, a Dr of archaeology, artists, craftspeople, science under graduates, and between us many years of environmental, conservation and outdoor learning experience. We have seen first hand how engagement with nature has a huge beneficial effect on people both young and old, and really enjoy how tech and social media quickly get forgotten as they get engrossed in what they are doing. This Easter we are offering a two day course for children aged 11-16, with 12 places available.

IMPORTANT INFO

This is a two day course, which will take place outside. Participants will need suitable warm clothing and to be able to attend and book both days. PLEASE BOOK BOTH DAYS OF THE COURSE Our forest school specialises in helping build confidence in children who are nervous/ shy and have anxiety problems, and we do alot of work with children with an ASD diagnosis. Because of the location and nature of activities /tools we do not work with children with behavioural or complex needs, although we are happy to discuss seperate provision that may be more suitable. If you have questions about your child's suitability please get in touch.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.

Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.
