BLACKSMITHING TASTER HALF DAY COURSE With Simon Summers 4-hour sessions available ~ 9AM -1PM Two places (students) per class 2024 Dates available: 16th November Saturday 18th January 2025 Saturday 24th May 2025 Friday 11th July 2025 Saturday 13th September 2025 Saturday 8th November 2025 Location: Set within an ancient woodland upon a period Celtic Iron Age fort. Ever wanted to try your hand at forging metal in a blacksmith's hearth? Join expert smith Simon in the alchemy of the craft. With his guidance you will learn hammer skills, forge and hearth management, simple tasks upon the anvil and creating small-objects to take home. >>> Want to gift this experience?
