What inspires me
Hey I'm Savanah, I recently finished doing Alevel French and loved it! Through tutoring I hope to pass on my passion but also inspire a love for language learning which I feel is really not encouraged enough in British schools. I want to make learning fun as well as rewarding through exploring the French culture as well as playing a variety of games and keeping active. From my own learning experience I have realised that a teacher really has to be able to relate to their students and put themselves in their shoes, for example a younger student wants to learn but will benefit from a creative approach like drawing making it more visual and also if see their attention begins to drift getting them on their feet and playing ball games or improvisations, both keeping the energy up and their engagement.

My passion for the French language first blossomed in my early childhood when I lived in France for five years, ever since living there and experiencing French mainstream school I've made the effort to sustain my fluency of this beautiful language. Tutoring is both rewarding and enjoyable for me as I felt from my own experience of the British educational system, languages are not fully appreciated therefore my teaching comes from a place of passion and a desire to inspire my students and nurture in them  a genuine interest for the language. My qualifications in French include GCSE French and then A-level French in which I achieved an A, after my Gap year I hope to take my French a step further and study it at degree level.
