What we'll do
Start your personal rewilding journey here...Immerse yourself in the ancient art and practice of foraging for food or crafts. Identify edibles and toxic lookalikes, get tips and tricks from a professional forager & forest school trainer, plus taste some incredible wild flavours! Earlier this year, Gemma survived on a 100% wild food diet for 3 months as part of a research project into the gut microbiome, health & wellbeing. Find out about her experiences of living this modern hunter-gatherer lifestyle, and how foraging relates to our practices as forest school leaders. On our foraging walk we may meet up to 15 different species, so bring a notebook or camera to help jog your memory when back home! [If you'd like to come on a more comprehensive foraging training day (2 hours will fly by!) my next date is: Foraging for Group Leaders CPD, 10am-4pm, Sunday 15th October in a beautiful site in Croydon. Please book on eequ or email hello@earthwild.org.uk]
