What we'll do
Come and spend the morning exploring the woods through play with your little ones. This session is designed for children under 6. Those taking part should be walkers, though if you have a assisted walker, im sure theyd enjoy it too. Please email us if you wish to bring any children outside of these ages. Buggies and slings are fine for non-walkers. We will go on a bear hunt, read the story, relax in the hammocks, look for bugs, have a sing song, walk barefoot and try a craft or two. After the guided activities, you will have time included to have your teddy bear's picnic (brought by you) on the grass - remember to bring your bear!

I'm happiest in nature
I am a qualified teacher, Level 3 Forest Schools practitioner, mum, dog owner and lover of the outdoors. I grew up in Redhill and enjoyed spending my childhood exploring the local area with my family. My mum would tell me the names of trees and flowers on our journeys and inspired my love of nature and the outdoors. We continue to walk together with wonder, now with my own child and dogs!
What you’ll need
* picnic, blanket to sit on and teddy! * sturdy shoes - no flip flops please * small towel to dry feet after barefoot walk * water bottle * waterproof trousers and a coat - depending on the weather * a hat for sun or bad weather protection

What we'll do
When you arrive there will be plenty of time for exploring and free play. We will come together to welcome everyone and have a song or two before we go off on our bear hunt. Later on we will try barefoot walking, so you might want to bring a towel to dry off those little feet! You can try a craft before joining us for our teddy bear's picnic on the field.
