About your mentor
The Trees Community Association Ltd
Organiser of the food & fun :-)
My name is Lisa Playford and I am the Project Manager for Willingdon Trees Community Centre, which runs for the benefit of all people living in the Hampden Park and surrounding areas of Eastbourne. The Community Centre is situated in the heart of the Willingdon Trees neighbourhood and is run by a small charity, the Trees Community Association Ltd, who work in partnership with Sussex Community Development Association. The Centre has been developed in a thriving and vibrant community hub, offering a space for affordable community hire, a venue for essential advice and support services, free to access social groups, opportunities for learning and volunteering, and an inclusive and friendly environment. The Centre is run by three part-time staff members and a team of fantastic volunteers.
Where to find us
We are located just off of Maywood Avenue on the 1a bus route. The Loop and 1 service also stop nearby. There is plenty of free parking at the front of the Centre. We aim to be accessible to everyone.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.If you book a place please consider that failure to attend is a wasted space that could be enjoyed by someone else and also leads to food waste. Repeated failure to attend booked sessions will result in future bookings being refused.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
