What we'll do
During the course of the week we will learn the basics of Kickboxing, learning technique whilst playing Kickboxing based games. We will also play lots of physical team games, such as football, circuits, tag, ball games and team games. We have our own Nerf and Laser wars equipment with large inflatable bunkers. We also have a room where arts and crafts are available throughout the day alongside board games and puzzles so the children can come and have some quiet time with less physical activities. We do some cooking throughout the week, whilst learning about healthy lifestyles. This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.

It's not just sport, it's a way of life.
I have done Martial Arts for over 30yrs and have had my own Kickboxing gym for over 15yrs. As well as Kickboxing we go to local schools and deliver workshops centred around confidence building, mental health and a healthy balanced lifestyle. We also work closely with the police and community groups. I love working with the children and community not only teaching kickboxing but also having positive impact in areas of both themselves and their families lives. I have achieved my Black Belt 3rd Dan 3 years ago.
