What we'll do
Get Creative! is in partnership with Bexhill Museum and De La Warr Pavilion. During this fun-filled week you will be able to take part in many different creative activities - including music, making, drawing and painting. This summer's theme will be announced soon. We start our week at Bexhill Museum where children will get exclusive 'behind-the-scenes' access to the museum collections, before moving on to De La Warr Pavilion for a further 3 days to create original music and visual art works. During the week we will work towards an informal celebration event, that will take place on the last day of the course, when family and friends are invited to come along and find out more about what you have been working on and learn how to make (and maybe even to taste) the food that you've been eating at lunchtimes. Lunch will be provided for everyone on the course each day and you can also take part in fun games and activities focused on nutritious eating and healthy, active lifestyles. Come along and get creative! ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Fully funded places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
