Our school philosophy is based on empowering the individual to discover their inner spirit and to develop the skills and attitude to make it to black belt and beyond. Teenagers channel energy, relieve stress and build self-esteem. Children from the age of 6 yrs develop confidence and valuable life skills.

I started Taekwondo with my son not knowing what we were letting ourselves in for (I thought it was a Judo class!) we immediately fell in love with TKD and after much sweat, hard work, perseverance and a few tears we have both attained our first and second Dan black belts. I am delighted to now teach at the club I started at. I still study under my instructor and a 7th Dan champion at our regional centre in Horley. I am passionate about passing on my knowledge to the next generation, I strongly believe that to preserve and build on the legacy of Taekwondo for the future is an privilege and honour. You never forget your first martial arts instructor. I remember mine with fondness from my teenage years learning Karate. During my time as a forensic specialist and manager at the Metropolitan police forensics lab I have developed and learned many mentoring and leadership skills that assist and guide me as a martial arts instructor.
